How does the magic work? The technology of photoluminescence
The secret to these unique zippers lies in the material from which their elements, such as the teeth and the slider, are formed. It is a specialized plastic enriched with photoluminescent pigments. These pigments have the ability to absorb and store light energy, and then slowly release it in the form of visible, greenish or bluish light.
The process is extremely simple and safe: just illuminate the zipper for a moment with a flashlight, a lamp, or simply expose it to sunlight, and the teeth will begin to glow nicely in the dark. The longer and more intense the exposure to light, the brighter and longer-lasting the effect will be. It is this interactive element that makes children love it – they can “charge” their clothes themselves and enjoy their glow after the lights go out.

A flame-retardant molded zipper with size 9 teeth. The teeth are made from a modified plastic with flame-retardant properties: self-extinguishing, does not sustain combustion, and has no afterglow. The zipper is produced on an aramid tape, which makes it permanently flame-retardant.
